The policy should be that if anyone (man or woman) petitions for divorce without asserting (and proving) fault against the other spouse then that petitioner is rebuttably presumed unworthy of alimony, unless the petitioner can show, by clear and convincing evidence, that some equitable principle(s) dictate(s) that alimony be awarded.
